Well, games have to make money right? Seems they're following the footsteps left behind from Mass Effect and FIFA, and integrating a micro-transaction feature in Ryse. You are able to buy different packs; Bronze, Silver, and Gold packs from either gold earned by playing multiplayer games, or from real life currency. I think this is a decent feature, not too game-breaking and doesn't give much of an advantage.

"Those booster packs contain random sets of loot. Based on the different tiers of loot that you get - whether you buy Bronze, Silver or Gold Packs - guarantees whether you get rare or common items.

My gut feeling saays that this game is going to suck. At least I am not going to like it. The combat system is the biggest turn off for me. Anyone remembers when this game was going to be a kinect game? Crytek has changed the mechanics in hurry and result is qte combat system. It's really awful considering that it's a fighting game.
