Are you receiving any one of the following errors?
Kinect microphone not detected (809B1080)
Plug in your sensor and start the test again.
Your speaker volume or background noise is too loud
Make sure that the noise in your room hasn't increased.
These messages indicate that the Kinect sensor cannot hear you properly.
How to solve Kinect microphone error
If you see any one of these error messages, press More info to see suggestions on how to correct the problem. After performing the suggested changes, press Try Again to run the test again.
You have to use the Kinect Audio Tuner to trouble shoot the problem. Finally restart your console to check out whether it still exists.
After performing all above, if the problem exists, you should contact Xbox Support.
