The team at Microsoft in charge of the Xbox One home console announces that, starting with next week, all gamers who buy one of the devices at a number of locations in the United States will be able to get access to a free digital copy of Forza Motorsport 5, the racing title from Turn 10.

I hate when they do stuff like this.... Here the loyal fans that ordered the day one edition don't get any game at all... but we do get a controller with some print on it. Now if you buy one, you get a free $60 game with it.... But they don't get the writing on the controller... how will they live.....

Nintendo REWARDED the buyers of pre-price cut 3DS with the Ambassador program of over 10 GBA games for free. MSFT rewards those who will buy post-launch months later a free game. Where's the love for the early adopters, MSFT?

Yeah, I don't really like them adding Forza 5 for free since forza has been released since the launch. New gamers should have the choice to choose what games comes for free. Or they should have other options.

That would be a killer if they could do that. But this is after all a marketing strategy just to keep the game selling.
