Xbox 360 Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition

I am debating getting this for myself or for a friend (their birthday is coming up). Has anyone read some of the reviews that are currently online for it? I caught the commercial over the weekend and now I am non-stop reading to see if its really going to be worth the money.

From what I understand, this is basically the same game that was released last year with the downloadable content added. Well that game was awesome, so if you don't have it then I'd definitely recommend getting this one. If you're a Mortal Kombat fan, I doubt you'd be disappointed.
