Xbox One No wifi on One S, but controller works

Like the title says, the console doesn't pick up any wifi signal, when I manually enter the ssid it just says the console only uses WPA 2 and 3 etc, which my network is

I saw the USB wifi adapters but they apparently only are for the controllers?

So your router SSID settings are set to invisible?

No they aren't. Ssid shows on all other devices and works wifi works on my brothers newer Xbox fine


I think the wifi card is dead

If you have a long enough Ethernet cable, maybe try a wired connection and see if the Xbox connects to the internet. Download all updates, reset network settings, and try connecting with WiFi again.

I did a full reset, connected with wired and did a full update

Didn't resolve
