So, my hard drive died on me a couple of days ago. In the meantime I purchased a new one WD 1TB SSD) and installed it. When I turn on my box, I get to the expected troubleshooting screen. (I am assuming that my install went well. I have never done a hard drive replacement on a console before but have on a few PCs. Also, I bought a new USB stick to make sure my transfer was pristine. I checked to make sure that the $Systemupdate file was the only file on the stick. The issue is that no matter which USB port I use, the console does not recognize the stick.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there something I need to do to format the USB stick for the upload ? any help is greatly appreciated!
