Playstation Vita: 3G or Wifi

I was considering buying the Playstation Vita, but I am not sure whether to get the Wifi or 3G version. Besides the price, what are the differences between the Wifi and 3G Vita? Which version would you buy?

I would get the 3g, you will have to pay extra each month for 3g and a lot of places have Wi-Fi now. Not much besides that, I would get the Wi-Fi. I had the original, and never had a problem getting a connection. If you have a smartphone, you could always tether.
