PS4 coming out soon?

Is the PS4 really coming out sometime next year? If so, that means the PS3 will probably go down in price, right? Which means I might actually splurge and buy one next year!

If the PlayStation 4 does come out next year, wouldn't you rather raise a little more money to purchase the new device, instead of getting the PS3? I mean, how much could the PS4 cost anyway?

It will go down when the new PS4 comes out, but reports have said between 2012-2015. And I agree with Agphorth that it will probably be worth the extra cost to get the new one.
