Sony has announced that their upcoming system the PS4 will be the main event of their conference there. They go on to say that they know that the PS4 lineup is a little lackluster right now, so they will make it a point to change that at Gamescom. Expect to see many new PS4 games announced and displayed as Sony knows that they still have much to prove before their system is released.
