Xbox One Razer to make Xbox One controllers, arcade sticks and more

Entertainment hardware manufacturer Razer is partnering with Microsoft to create peripherals for the Xbox One, the companies announced today.

Razer's Xbox One product line will include controllers, an arcade stick and more, according to a press statement. The company has previously worked with Microsoft peripherals and accessories for the Xbox 360. More information on specific products and launch dates will be made available in the coming weeks.

Not exactly breath taking news, but it would be nice to have some more 3rd party hardware options. Given MSFT's strict third party policies it's good to know there's plans underway and we hopefully won't have to wait too much longer. Do you guys and gals strictly prefer first party accessories or would you rather save some cash and explore your options? Let us know your thoughts!

Awesome indeed. Now at least when you need new controller set-ups, we can look to Razer to see what they got. Cannot wait to see the options they'll give us.

I hope they can make some awesome wheel controllers. More racing games will be coming to the XB1 so we gotta see Razer prep it up and give us the controllers to really give us the experience.

Me too. The old-school types are some of the best. Nostalgic vibes just come out of them. I hope Razer can make them too.

I agree. I've always been an arcade dude when I was a kid. I wish they could really make one.

Maybe if we spam |Razer, they'll make them! hahaha kidding, kidding. But I hope they can make them, yeah. I know fighting games are invading XB1 so they gotta make them.
