This is yet again, another zombie FPS game. This game looks extremely similar to Left 4 Dead 2 which is one reason why I'm not going to get this game. The co-op option is only the good feature in the game, nothing else. Weapons look generic for a FPS game, the only thing that's highlighted mostly is sniping.

I couldn't find an official trailer video, but this will do.

Any thoughts on this game? How this game will turn out?

I completely agree, ozadin! These games are all starting to look like the same 'ole, same 'ole. I wonder if it's to blame on a lack of interest on the game designers part, or if it's because these companies routinely pouch each others talented game creators so it all starts looking alike. It's just so overdone! I'm ready for something new and different!

I've not played Sniper Elite 3, but I did play Sniper Elite 2 and it was a thoroughly enjoyable game. The game was very much stealth based, you couldn't last long at all in open combat which felt genuinely realistic. I remember the missions being pretty difficult, you had to time everything so that it worked out to the second. I've read some reviews for SE3 and it seems to be a much more generic version of the first game with more attention given to just shooting things rather than the stealth element.

As long as it still has the same amazing camera system that wonderfully shows off how your bullets pass through another man's scrotum and they do the whole "nazi zombies" thing ironically, I'll be playing it. Haven't tried it yet on PC, so I guess I might as well do it once the XB1 comes out.

Sniper Elite 3 will not be "Another zombie FPS game" seeing as that is a completely different stand alone game mode for the second game. Sniper Elite, V2, and 3 are all World War era shooters that are supposed to focus on realism (To an extent) and sniping. The guns look generic because it's set in Germany and other places, you aren't going to have super duper Call of Duty M4 Commando with a holographic thermal sight.

Also, how have you read reviews on Sniper Elite 3 when the game isn't even announced yet. It hasn't even been shown at any game shows like Tokyo Game Show or PAX. This entire thread just kind of irritates me at the complete lack of knowledge it contains.

I agree, well it does look like left4dead but it isn't. Since the plot is set on the world war 2 era. What it reminds me of is the last movie of underworld. Remember the scene where Alice was in a man made Germany like dome filled with Nazi Zombies, plus in this games some zombies have weapons. I'm looking forward to this game. I will definitely add this to my "must haves" once I get my own One.

Oh my goodness, are you people retarded? THIS IS NOT A ZOMBIE GAME, IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE LEFT 4 DEAD. The video is a MULITPLAYER MODIFICATION. IT'S A DLC PACK LIKE ZOMBIES FOR CALL OF DUTY. Holy cow the amount of stupid in this thread just baffles me to no end. I didn't want to be someone who was rude, but the person above me clearly has no idea what the game is, didn't read my reply, and should not be posting on a forum with zero knowledge.

Sniper Elite 3 will be (JUST LIKE THE FIRST TWO) a World War 2 Sniper Game. Third person, over the shoulder. Nothing, AND I MEAN NOTHING has been said about Sniper Elite 3, and will most likely not even include the Zombie aspect of the game again, which as I stated was entirely based around Multiplayer, had nothing to do with the campaign or story.

"Sniper Elite 3" is a third person shooter and isn't zombie oriented. Even the trailer, which isn't for said game (although the title of the thread states it is), demonstrates this. There are multiple trailers available now for the correct game so this thread should be updated.

Uhm dude... since when did this game become a zombie game? The game you're referring to is called the Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army. Sniper Elite 3 is a WW2 sniper game. It does not have zombies in it. When it says Nazi Zombie Army, then you got the game with zombies.

This is misinformation dude. This is not Sniper Elite 3. This is Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army. You can't claim this to be the Sniper Elite 3. I'd laugh if somebody who reads this believe what you said, went to Walmart and asked for this game and then went home, popped it in and found out there are no zombies. Just regular Nazis. So anybody reading this, THIS IS NOT SNIPER ELITE 3.

I have been playing Sniper Elite on the PC since the first one. Second one was good too.... but one day, I wish they would make a sniper game that is like real world where they give you a mission, a target and then drop you in a map or world and you have to execute the plan any way you see fit. If you want to stealth it and one shot one kill great... if you want to go guns a blazing, great... but it is up to you and not linear so you have an open world that you have to recon, find your target, mark it and then decide when to take the shot, then get to the extraction zone. Something like the first sniper elite and hitman games, but the freedom to do it how you want, not in a linear story. The target or multiple targets could have different respawn areas in each map so the replay could be endless. You recon, find the best spot and take him out silently or as loud as you want.... that would make a great sniper game and one day I hope Rebellion will do something like that. If you had trouble finding the mark, maybe every five minutes or so, you could get an intel update as to the general area where he was last scene or maybe a perk that he likes to do, like he likes to visit this bar or fish at a certain lake, whatever... but something that would give you a hint as to his location, but not something that marks him on the map so you know directly where to go... recon would be key.... One day I hope to see something like this... a ghost recon/hitman/sniper elite type game....

It's the first game from the Sniper Elite series I'm playing and so far it's pretty good.
What sold it to me is the kill cam action and tactical shooting, plus the numerous organs. ;)
And in what other game can you shoot Hitler in the testicles?

Got it recently and making my first run. Like I said elsewhere, I tried Sniper Elite II on the PC when it was free on Steam and I liked it a lot, despite the crashes it caused for me. So far it's just what I expected. You get a sniper rifle and get told to shoot, and I'm fine with that. I had just hoped that there would be some kind of twist to it.
