Spiritborn Class Receives Vital Buffs in Diablo 4’s Upcoming Patch
The Spiritborn class, which has struggled to keep pace with other classes in Diablo 4’s Season 8, is set to receive a series of important buffs in the upcoming 2.2.1 patch scheduled for May 14, 2025. After being significantly nerfed following an initially overpowered launch, Spiritborn players have found their class lagging behind, with top players barely breaking into higher Pit levels compared to other classes Diablo 4 gold.

Key skill improvements include a dramatic increase in The Protector’s damage from 80% to 140%, and its barrier now grants 30% of maximum life instead of 15%. The Rank 5 upgrade for Thorns damage also rises from 100% to 150%, making this skill more formidable in combat. Passives are also enhanced: Adaptive Stances now provide a 75% core stat bonus (up from 50%), and Vital Strikes boosts vulnerable damage bonuses from 45% to 80%, while healing from this passive increases from 2% to 5% of maximum life. Vigor generation is doubled, and Prodigy’s Tempo skill rank bonus is increased from 2 to 4, further empowering Spiritborn’s combat effectiveness.

These changes aim to restore Spiritborn’s viability and competitiveness in both solo and group play, addressing community concerns about the class’s underperformance. Bug fixes specific to Spiritborn, such as proper equipment drops in pre-Torment difficulties and fixing damage over time effects, also improve the class’s overall gameplay experience.

With these buffs, Spiritborn players can look forward to a more balanced and enjoyable playstyle in Season 8 and beyond, as Blizzard continues to fine-tune class balance based on player feedback Diablo 4 Items for sale.
