Strange issue

I purchased a Minecraft 360 disk 2 weeks ago from a reputable used game dealer. I enjoyed playing the game for a week and then I started getting an unrecognized disk window. I tried cleaning the disk several times and even formated the Xbox, still nothing. I purchased ANOTHER Minecraft Xbox 360 disk from a different dealer ( I assumed there was something wrong with the first disk). The new disk came in today and I am getting the SAME error message !! All of my other 360 games play fine ... it is only the Minecraft game that won't play anymore .... neither disk. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I am pulling my hair out

I had something like that once and clearing the alternate MAC address in the network settings fixed it for me. Also unplugging the console for a few minutes helped.

Maybe the Xbox’s laser is struggling with that specific type of disk or there’s a compatibility glitch? Once had an issue with an old console that couldn’t read a certain game, but updating the system fixed it. While you sort that, messing around with shaders on the PC version (something like minecraft 1.21.5 shaders with those mellow, chill vibes) really helped keep me entertained.
