Xbox One Text message from Gamestop... XB1 Controller in!

All,

Just got a text message from Gamestop letting me know my XB1 controller was available for pickup! Guess where I'm going after work???

EDIT: Got the controller! Here are a few screenshots!!!!



Btw, they didn't have Forza... No worries :)

Lol.. Yea I got a text saying my controller and charge kit is ready for pick up Thursday PM

UPDATE: I just called my gamestop and they said everything for Xbox one had been released EXCEPT the system. So I too will be heading to gamestop after work :)

So, you are able to even pick up games??? What games did you preorder??? I'm hoping I'll be able to get my Forza preorder, but my Gamestop said it wasn't in yet.

I am not 100% on the games. I preordered forza 5, cod: ghost, dead rising 3, and madden 25. I have already picked up cod last week. And from gamestops webpage madden comes out on the 19th.. I'll update when I go there this evening.

Thanks! It would be great if I could get all of my non-system preorder early... Especially if I go to a midnight release next week. Two different stores would be difficult to hit in one night.

I picked up my copy of ghosts and my controller just now. I ordered the standard controller. They were so busy getting ready for ps4 launch the guy didn't realize he handed me the controller with the PLAY AND CHARGE KIT!! I got to my car and opened up my bag and had to take a triple look. Lol thanks gamestop! Hahahahah
 
Just picked up my controller. My Gamestop wasn't handing out games yet. They said they're still under street date. The accessories are good to go though. I got another text saying I can pick up NBA 2K14 tomorrow so we'll see.
 
Yea I went and checked on my stuff.. No games and they did not have my controller with charge kit. They only had single controllers by themselves and charge kits separate. So only thing I accomplished was changing a preorder of my madden game for day one ryse son of Rome :). I have been seeing live streams of madden from the ps4 and it does not look much different than current gen :(. Maybe the Xbox one version will be better idk. So I felt safe with spending my money on ryse.

Also there was a line of about 20 for the ps4 extras.

Yeah interestingly there wasn't one person lined up for a shot at a PS4 at my gamestop.
 
nice pick up. only email i got from gamestop was about some in store credit thing for trade in's
