Xbox 360 What Changes Should Be Made To Team Doubles

I personally feel that Infinity Doubles needs to be removed, if not heavily modified.

The ordnance drops will give any player an advantage, and once that ordnance drops, chances are you'll get a Railgun, Sticky Detonator, Damage Boost or Saw at your disposal. Once this happens, the team can keep racking up kills, especially on maps that have minimal power weapons (Scythe with only the sniper rifle).

All of these, especially the Railgun, are EXTREMELY powerful in Team Doubles. These ordnance drops, along with the fact that every map has a Sniper with a large clip or a powerup spawning every 2 minutes just takes away some of the skill aspect of the game. I love intense DMR/BR battles with maybe a fight for one or two power weapons at most. Not to mention how powerful Promethean Vision can be in a 2v2 game.

Doubles Pro is where they got it right. No radar or ordnance drops. A few power weapons on the map and pre-made loadouts that only offer you different gun choices (no armor abilities or anything like that). This is what competitive Halo used to be, back in the Halo 3 and Halo 2 days. This is what makes Team Doubles fun...especially if you're with a friend who talks and can call out. The matches are intense and no "lucky" ordnance drops. Just gun fights and overall skill prevailing (in most cases).

Also, maybe a few more maps would be good :). Shutout and Simplex would be nice!
