Over the years, the Xbox 360 has transformed into an all in one entertainment machine. You can do almost anything with it that an average computer user can do. So, with brand new technology coming our way, what feature would you like to see that would take full advantage of the technology. I would personally love to have a multi-touch controller, as with the PS4 and the WiiU.

That would be very cool, i would also like to see a option to pre order and download games when they come out straight on the xbox marketplace so i don't have to wait in lines at the store when a game comes out.

I agree fully with both of you, and would also love to see the following features:

- A better cooling system.
- A slide in disk slot like on the PS3.
- A feature to put the game view across multiple screens.. I'm still waiting for the day that I can have an intuitive way to view a game across multiple screens and surround myself in the content, just like i do on my computer.
- I want efficient backwards compatibility.. I don;t want to have three different xbox systems sitting on my tv desk so that I can play all of my old games. Its just way to inconvenient, when I KNOW that the technology exists.

This is about the extent of my own wish list. I'll probably think of more later though =]

BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY!!!!!! I really miss playing my old Fable game without it glitching!

I would also love it if they tried to do something about the bloody things overheating so much! I live in a very hot climate and it is so annoying having my games just stop loading in the middle of the day.

Well, I would like to be able to play games while not connected to the internet! Let's see what comes out of that...

Now, proper backward compatibility would be great too but it probably won't happen.

This isn't a bad idea. I hate waiting in lines for my games as well. However, some people prefer to have a hard copy of a game just in case something happens. If your Xbox were to give out, your games are gone...unless you can somehow remove the hard drive easier.

I would like the cooling system to be better as well. My Xbox makes some weird noises when I'm playing and I can tell it struggles a bit to stay on/cool. Some better wireless information would be good...my connection acts weird sometimes so I'd like to be able to monitor how the wireless is performing....maybe like a signal log or something. It would make my life a lot easier.

Sometimes I kind of wish my Xbox had some sort of special controller with amazing abilities to play different types of games a different way than others. Also I hate when my Xbox overheats its just darn annoying. I'm sure Microsoft will surprise us with a great console though.

If just like the new Xbox to be 10x more powerful than the Xbox 360. I don't want any other gimmicks like what the Nintendo Wii U is doing. I'm more of a traditional gamer and I don't really feel the need for other features like motion sensor or virtual reality. I like to try them but at the end of the day, I just want to have my regular controller, console, and TV with me.

I would like the new xbox to have the high performance of an top line pc, with great video and speed. Video quality is a really big difference between the pc and consoles. It would also be nice to have a new controller.

I'd definitely love to have it function a lot more like an entertainment system, rather than just a gaming one. A Blu-ray player is a must, perhaps doubling as a 3D player, free internet without adapters and pay is also a must - let's be honest, the XBL subscription model is bleeping stupid. Furthermore I'd like some better voice control. I simply gush over the idea of yelling commands at my machines, and the voice recognition filter on the games and apps so far has been terrible - there's nothing like screaming "Next" 15 times with no result to make you feel moronic.

Backwards compatibility and less overheating... I like playing my Xbox 360 games and I don't want Microsoft to force me to buy all those games for the new console, then I definitely won't buy it. I am annoyed by how often the games freeze, mid-game, a nightmare. I have also had the idea of the Xbox being able to run PC games. I know Microsoft could make a way for Windows based PC games to be able to be run on the next Xbox, it would be a really neat feature.

Games.

Seriously, guys.
Guys, stop with the social crap.

I just want to play video-games! If i wanted to socialize, i think i would turn my head to my laptop and go to one of many social networks out there, i don't need all of this "connect to xbox live so your friends can know what you are playing right now" IF, which i don't, want to let my friends know what i am playing, i will tell them myself, i don't need a machine for that.

Focus on the damn games!
