For people who pre-ordered a One through, say, Amazon or some other website where you can't go physically pick the console up, when do they start shipping them out? Will these people still get their consoles on day one or do they ship on day one and you have to take shipping time into account?

I have pre-ordered games like COD from Amazon in the past. I have Prime so it is free 2 day shipping. It always shows up on the release date. I pre-ordered the Xbone from there as we'll. Hopefully it will be here on the 22nd. If not it will get here when it gets here. I'm too old to go fight the crowds at a midnight release.

Im sure you will be fine. Even though the Day One Editions are..Day 1 you will get them that day. I picked 1 day shipping just to make sure even though 2 day will ge tit to you. But Since this is huge I would say they would probably start shipping them the wensday before to your local delivary store, UPS, Prestige, etc.

I think it's a matter of where you ordered from. I know Amazon is stating Day One delivery while Target says later in the week.

I have GS and MS online pre orders...I made sure that the stated I would receive it on day one. I agree that they will ship probably Tues or Wed. I also have on at GS that I can go to midnight release. Or as I've learned go in at 1230. Although the part is fun.

i would assume they would arrive the day of release. i am sure mcrosoft has a deal with shipping companies to ensure packages delivered on the 22.. it would really come down to when the truck arrives at your door. the big shipping companies dont normally offer a pre 12pm delivery time or anything on those line..

i have had the ups man show up at 7pm due to rain and big package day this is out of microsoft, gamestop and various other mail order outlets.

Well, I preordered COD Ghosts and it wound up here on release day, so maybe I'll luck out with my One and it will get here on release day, too. Can't say I'll be overjoyed if it doesn't!

There was a story online about one guy who pre-ordered his Xbox One from Target.com already received the system. Although, I don't know if he'd be able to use it.

so far a total of 150 Xbox One consoles shipped from Target. All consoles will be banned until 11/22

Those lucky, lucky folks... It's all good. If the XB1 is essentially a heavy paperweight until next week, kinda defeats the purpose of having it right now.

Now, my real question is (per this forum posting), I wonder if the stores have the XB1 in their back storage rooms? I'm sure MS is already shipping them to the stores, per the Target fiasco.

Well the ban is from XBOX LIVE. So assuming you were one of the lucky few who alos managed to download the Day One Patch, you could in theory still play any games you also received.

Even if tey have it, it doesn't matter. It would be useless without the update.

The users were able to get the update. Some at least.

That is true. Some did receive the update prior to MS shutting down access. So, technically, those lucky folks are enjoying their game system as we speak!

Not in backrooms yet

I took a seasonal job at Best Buy and the Xbox Ones are not in yet. The PS4 just arrived last Sat. Did get a email today telling me that the release date of COD Ghosts has been moved up to 11/19

Very interesting... I'm guessing Saturday will be the day the XB1 systems will begin to be received at Best Buy and other stores.
