Wii U has reached 1 million units sold since launch in Japan | Wii U
Finally some good news for Nintendo as it's been announced that the Wii U has officially sold 1 million units in Japan. This is obviously caused by the recent release of the highly anticipated Pikmin 3. Also, the Wii U reached this milestone 5 weeks earlier than the PS3 although the PS3 also cost a lot more than the Wii U when it was first released. It seems the Wii U isn't faring as bad in Japan compared to the rest of the world.
