Wii U Prices and Release Date Announced!

Nintendo has just announced the release date and prices of the Wii U! The Wii U will be hitting stores on November 18, 2012, just in time for the holiday shopping season! There will be two versions available for pre-order: The Basic Set and the Deluxe Set, which consist of the Wii U console and the Wii U GamePad. Here are the specs on each set:



Basic Set

• Price: $299.99
• Color: White
• 8GB Internal Storage
• Gamepad Stylus
• Sensor Bar
• 2 AC adapters
• HDMI Cable

Deluxe Set

• Price: $349.99
• Color: White
• 32GB Internal Storage
• Gamepad Stylus
• Sensor Bar
• 2 AC adapters
• HDMI Cable
• Nintendo Land Video Game
• Deluxe Digital Promotion (earn points for digital downloads purchased)
• A GamePad and Console stand
• A GamePad cradle

I saw an article about this earlier today. I wonder if they will have a pre-order for either one of them? I imagine they may be a little difficult to get your hands on until after Christmas.

What is your opinion on those offered anyway, Don't you think they are being used to cover-up for the hyped prices?
