Okay, so last time I wrote a post, my Xbox One would not load any of my games. It would kick me back out to the home screen. Video can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1D9qvW3okXc

This time, when I went to sign in, it say's "Hi,Craig!" and does not go away! Video is right over here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVkZHxropBo

I've had another bug where I was chatting in a party, muted my mic, un muted my mic, and my mic in my party chat continued to be muted. One friend that I know say's his Kinect 2 just straight up died on him and wont turn back on. I have about five or so friends from my town who have Xbox Ones and have not experienced any of these bugs/glitches.

Went ahead and returned my Xbox One. Really thinking about getting a PS4 now. Suggestions? Comments? Leave them below.

Gotta say, all game systems have bugs when they are first released. PS4 had weird issues as well. That is the price you pay for being the first (beta tester) to own a system. In time, those issues will be resolved, unfortunately, you have to have patience. What will happen if you take the XB1 back, purchase a PS4 (close to impossible at this time) and have issues with that system? Are you going to take it back and get a Wii U?

Just wondering...

I won't lie, the console is still a little rough around the edges. This will all be fixed soon enough, I'm sure MSFT is being overwhelmed with data and is sorting through it as quickly as possible.

I would not call us "Beta Testers". There were months of testing done to prevent catastrophic events in masses. MS didn't give us systems to use and we reply with feedback such as World of Tanks and soon enough, Project Spark. I had an issue with my system as well. They sent me a new system while I was able to keep and play on the old one until it arrived.

To the OP....I wouldn't hang up on the XB1 yet. As Jedi said, there will be bugs and I fully expected them. What you are talking about (party chat) are bugs/glitches that can be fixed with a patch instead of sending the system back. As far as being undecided about which console to get, I'd say get the PS4.

It is harsh to call first generation console owners as beta testers. But I do kind of think of you guys that way, there are always problems with consoles when they are first released because manufacturers don't catch all the problems. Unfortunately we don't know what the issues are until their in the hand of the consumers.

It is a bit harsh, however, we are the ones who find all of the problems early. It's all good though, we do get to experience the system through its growth. At times it can be a painful experience but eventually things get fixed and resolved.
