Xbox One Call of Duty: Ghosts officially announced!

Infinity Ward has officially announced the existence of the rumoured CALL OF DUTY: GHOSTS.

Check out the teaser trailer above. According to the end of the trailer, we will see more of the game at the May 21 announcement of the next Xbox console.

Infinity Ward suck at making games, so all I can do is hope that this one is based in the past like the first Black Ops, and then hopefully, it'll make for a relatively decent game. Call of Duty was ruined by all of these futuristic guns and silly killstreaks like remote controlled flying helicopters. It's getting more like an arcade game with things like that.

Well there was a character named "Ghost" from Modern Warfare 2 so I'd be surprised if it wasn't about him.

Definitely an interesting trailer but it didn't meet my expectations. I was hoping to see a hint of gameplay in it, but I guess we'll just have to wait a little longer.

I'm sincerely hoping not. Really don't want to see another Call of Duty based in the future, I don't see how others haven't seen how it's ruined the game compared to what it was previously with the likes of CoDWaW and the first Black Ops. The futuristic setting just doesn't fit into Call of Duty games, it makes them so boring and rinse/repeat.

Good trailer but I wasn't impressed with the last Call Of Duty release so, we'll see if I purchase this one and take a risk or not.

This game looks amazing. The entire Call of Duty series is great in general. Infinity Ward, in my honest opinion, produces the best game. Modern Warfare 2, also produced by Infinity Ward, is the current best Call of Duty game based on the graphics, the guns, the campaign, and the multiplayer. I cannot wait until this game is released.

That really didn't show me much. It definitely left me wanting more, but they could have at least shown us something.

Let's hope "Ghost" doesn't imply the perk that EVERYBODY will use yet again

Not really into the name, but COD is a good FPS game anyway, even if it has it's sometimes really lame storylines... at the end of the day I can move past that and enjoy the multiplayer with my friends.

I love ghost from MW2. Could this possibly be the story of his origin?! This may be the game I get at the midnight launch party. But I don't know. It may be good. It may be bad. We won't know until either the Xbox May 21 event, or E3. We may have some in-game footage by then, though.

just saw an ad today that said it's gonna be shown at the may 21 reveal so we'll see.

So excited! My brother pre-ordered it and got as poster. Poster looks really sick. Super high hopes for this game, hoping for a stealth-based game, would love a stealth FPS with a new CoD engine!
