What are the risks? Will I lose the warranty if I do so?

Anything that involves you removing screws or breaking any type of a seal will automatically void your warranty. This even includes upgrading the harddrive. My advice is to use a can of air to try and remove as much dust without the need of opening the console.

Can you just use a can of that air in a can? That should help you get some of the dust out without having to unscrew anything.

Don't open it! If you're worried about the warranty, don't touch that case, haha. Like the others have said, try to clean it as best as you can with spray air.

Just as long as you don't disassemble anything, you will not void any warranty you might have. As far as dusting goes, I usually just use an air compressor. I fill my compressor up and just blast away any and all dust. You can use a can of compressed air, but you will clean a lot more dust off with an actual air compressor.

Opening it will void a warranty. If you wish to clean it, take it out back and spray it with an air compressor. This, if anything will get rid of most, or all, of the dust. I am not sure what the cans are but they probably work just the same.

I wouldent. One thing is the only open area to spray air in is above the fan. This is going to make the fan spin at a very fast rpm level which could damage your fan. I would imagine some dust would disperse out but it would more than likely just re cycle dust around in your box.

I wouldent be to concerned about it. I'm sure M$ took this in to account as its basically an extention of a cable box lol. If anything wait till your warranty is up then disassemble it. As I've seen its pretty easy to open the XB1 up.

A air compressor would be the worst thing to use. Unless u can wedge something to make the fan stop spinning. U would for sure burn your fan out!

Are you sure of that?
The fan already spins extremely fast as it is, I don't think the blast is powerful enough to damage it, in fact, it would be much more likely to be damaged if you wedge something in there like you say...

Ughh ya pretty sure there. Do u have an idea of how much force air compressor kick out lol. U would exceed the standerd rpm by about 100 times over. At those speeds not to mention down pressure exerted on the fan putting it on a bind yea it will do some damage. And no sticking a thin plastic shim down far enough to block movement of the fan won't damage anything unless u ram it all the way down on components. U could hold a thin shim with one hand and blow air in with the other. The fan sits above the thermal so as long as u Dont bottom out your shim u should be fine.

It's an automatic warranty void, anything that involves you taking the console apart, even removing the screws screws the warranty (see what I did there LOL) If you want to dust off your console, like what most people have suggested, just pick up a can of air and blow the dust off. It's the safest thing you can do.
