Connection Issues

Hi first post on here - hope someone can help!

My son has an xbox One S (not new not gen), which after about 2 to 3 minutes of online gameplay will lose connection and kick him back to the starting screen.

I've tried various things to sort it out - tested the network, reset the router/console, created a new account etc., but the problem has continued. I've also moved the xbox closer to the router.

Strangely, it doesn't lose connection if he's online watching YouTube etc - it only appears to affect games.

I'm out of ideas!

If YouTube plays fine but your online game keeps dropping out, you may want to check your local network for interference.
