I still remember the original xbox's hard drive size, and I tend to miss it a lot. I remember have numerous albums stored on the box and not worrying about running out of space. Now I have a 360 slim, with the base hard drive and I have to constantly delete content to make room for save games, updates or DLC. I have resorted to using a thumb drive for extra space, but it is still aggravating. I know that monetizing the sales of additional space provide another revenue stream for Microsoft but I would assume it has put a negative spin on how I now view Microsoft's goals. I have contemplated buying a Western Digital HD and configuring to work with the xbox, but I do not even want to spend that extra $$! LOL!

Has the change affected you at all?

Do you only have the 4GB console? I personally have a 250gb hard drive, and I'm struggling to fill this thing up, and I'm trying. Everything I have is installed and I download a LOT of DLC. With the release of the 360 slim, there are two different models. If you have the 4GB one, from what you're saying it sounds like, then you need to purchase the internal hard drive. It slips right into the bottom of the console and will give you the space that you need. The only downfall is that it's $100. The way consoles are going, it isn't going to surprise me if TB hard drives become the standard for gaming consoles since memory is getting cheaper and cheaper as time goes on.

I purchased the 4GB one because of the appealing color and texture and bought a 250GB hard drive which comes out to about the same price. If you do not know hot to add a hard drive you look at the bottom of your Xbox and you'll see a little button and slide that towards the front of the Xbox and voila you have it open. What's good about this design is that instead of having to use a transfer cable to transfer your information you just simply add a 250GB hard drive on top of (or below depends on perspective) so you have both to access. Hope this helped! Also TB hardrives would be very convenient but I doubt anytime soon they'll come out with that.

omg, I've never thought about the size of hard drives. I don't really save games I believe it beating the game in one sitting. If you can't do the game all at once you are not fulling into it. You guys are just cheating using saved games. really. do you even game?

I'm sorry but you just made absoloutly no sense. So you arsaying you play a 20 hour campaign in one sit in? And also to add to that, a game (usually) automatically saves so you would be consuming space anyway. Don't take it as an insult but next time think before you post. No offense though, just a friendly tip.
