Xbox One forza 5 gets long beach dlc.

Always, that's pretty good on them for doing that.
 
so far we have gotten 2 free tracks..

they also changed the dlc cars... where i you buy the dlc pack each of the cars is directly added to your garage... not really a fan of this. no more in game money to buy dlc cars..
 
More power to MS. They aren't very big on free updates but when they do, its pretty good.
 
Meh. This doesn't make me very happy. I've never been a big fan of the series and this game was pretty bad, actually.

If this DLC is going to add a lot of content, I would actually buy the game with the DLC included. I want to try and see if it's really worth it.

Same here. Depending on what we will get out of it will be the buying factor for the DLC.
 
the game itself is what you make of it... it can be fun or horrible... i have found myself on both ends as a "car guy" myself... some of the stats/mods/how the car reacts are not"real world" related... but you you understand its a game and not life you tend to let your previous knowledge go and start to adapt to the game.. and it can be a fun game...

lets face it is a car game/racing.. not much room for interpenetration.. the cloud ui can get annoying but if your a good driver you can fight to the front... once you get to know the track a little turn off an assist... and see how u do... maybe turn off 2.....

grab a tune/setup from a top 5% guy and see how you do... once you start to feel like your doing better you may start to work at getting faster or beating the next guy in the rivals section... do some hot laps... try and beat your personal best time.. you can and will be surprised what joy you might get from it... you may get frustrated but when you do shave off that half a second it will mean that much more...

the dlc is nice.. free tracks are good... its not like its a sub part track or graphics on it are old..its new and shiny.. as the car packs grow you may or may not like all the cars in it... but hey its a huge crowd to please... test them out...

in the end its what you make of it like any game... if you give it a bad wrap off the bad you wont try it or even give it a shot... you dont have to be vip/seasonpass with every goody... the game works out of the box.. and its one of the best "racing" games on any console... so if you think it sucks all around than odds are you wont like any racing game on the market.

Yeah, I agree man. It's just up to who will play it and what he will think of the game after finishing it.

the nice thing about forza unlike most games is playability.. if you beet the career mode great but thats such a small aspect of forza.. the rival races and time trials is where it really gets fun... this is stuff you can do from day 1.. you also have multiplayer lobby's
 
Finally, MSFT is getting their grip on DLC. THAT'S what I'm talking about. Kudos to MSFT!

i would think it is more turn10 making right... they have made a few changed because of the backlash in the community.. the lack of tracks and cars at launch plus no market place and a few things they had in place kinda got allot of hate on the forza forums... i think they relize if they dont get the community happen the next forza installments will lack the sales.

my personal fav track was a forza dream up..(maple valley) and its gone... i appreciate them going with a more simulated game and really going in one direction and sticking to it.. but its had 4 installments before with more content and even tho they had made up tracks they were consistant..

i would love to see forza do a seasonpass 2 where they kept adding content to forza5... i would honestly buy both if they actually went that route. as of right now i am vip but have no dlc content minus the free honda pack and the tracks.
 
So is the DLC going to be free? It seems like a good choice to me. I'd buy the game right away just because they've added a new DLC, even though I'm not a fan of racing games at all.
 
only the 2 new tracks are free.. they are a game update... once you put it in the game will download/install it.
the only other free download was the Honda car pack..


they changed if you buy the dlc it does not require in game credits/tokens to purchase game they get put directly in your garage..
