Xbox One Planning on buying an Xbox One...

Hey people of the internet! It's been a while since I last played a game using a controller in my living room on a TV and I am planning on getting back to console party. So, I came across the new Xbox the other day and I was kind of enticed by it (mainly because the store offered a summer sale discount, it's already summer from where I live) Before I purchase one, I would love to hear your thoughts on the Xbox One, things that I should consider, personal experience with the console etc. I know there are a lot of reviews online, but its still better to hear one from actual gamers.

Xbox one is good but has a lot of room for it to still grow. I've tried it and I love it.

Yeah, I heard a lot of good things about it. But I guess my main concern, at least for now, are the games. Do you think I should get one now or should I wait a couple months more?

I have been in your situation as well, missing the touch of a console. But if you have more money right now, go for a gaming PC instead.

I'm actually on my to building a beast PC not only for gaming but for work as well and in doing so I've got a few left over cash to spare so I thought it would not hurt to get back on the consoles.

Not bad and certainly won't make anyone regret getting it. However, the games are still very little but it will be rectified in due time. Overall, if you want to return to console gaming then by all means go for it. I'm sure it's only going to get better when the games for the X1 start pouring in.

Consoles take a while to get going in terms of games. If you aren't sure yet, maybe hold off on buying one until you're sure. Or keep poking around here; maybe you'll find something to push you over the edge.

I am still waiting to buy one myself! I have seen a lot of good things about it; although there are some negative reviews out there, most of them have been good...at least that I have seen. I don't think it's a bad thing to buy a little late...then, hopefully they will fix any bugs and issues that might have popped up.

XBox One is the right choice. I bought it because of its features and for its seamless integration with my cable TV. The Windows 8 Metro is superb and very colorful and I like the orthogonal slabs that move around. Lastly, I tried Sony as well but did not like it all and so I opted for the XBox One.
