Guess you're right about that. But we'll see. Anything can happen at this point.
If that happens they will catch everyone's attention not unless you're a hardcore ps4 fan.

That choice of MSFT to not enter every market is really really weird.
It's the sort of decision that can snowball into complete disaster.
Game developers will want to have their games available on as many markets as possible and they can only get that on PS4, which means that more and more people buy PS4's in every market, since that's where all the games are.
While your point is valid, realistically MSFT is well aware which markets they will absolutely lose in. They consciously decided to wait in those markets as they would rather meet demand in other regions. In North America, where they dominated last gen, they're losing by a wide margin. Imagine had they entered Japan at launch.
Sony must have put in more efforts to market PS4 due to their huge losses. For them it's a question of survival and to survive, a company can do anything. In any case, many first time gamers could have gone with the PS4 which could have increased their sales.
When you back your competition into a corner they react aggressively. Sony did just that for the launch of this gen and now MSFT needs to react. Luckily for us, gamers, we benefit from the animosity.
Yeah the more they compete with each other the better benefits we get from it.
Yeah, I know dude. guess that's what we will really get if we're lucky.
