Xbox 360 Split-Screen Playing

In a way, it's probably good that split screen isn't that popular these days. It would give people one more thing to complain about. Most games that do split screen take a quality dip for it. And the media jumps all over stuff like that.
 
I don't love split screen because of the very annoying effect it has on your screen but because you actually are playing with someone beside you. Playing with friends from different houses is way less fun than actually being in the same room as you play. Split screen is something that brings us together.
