Xbox 360 Sticky disc drive

Hiya, my white hdmi 360 DVD drive doesn't open straight away when I press the eject button or press open tray on screen. I have to do it a number of times (around 3) before it opens. It's like its getting stuck somehow. The drive plays games no problem though.
Any ideas?

Sounds like you have to send it in for repairs or buy a new one. You can probably fix it yourself with some online tutorials, but that's up to you. I had issues with my disc drive before I bought the new Xbox 360 S model and it wouldn't read discs. It would open and close the tray, but it wouldn't read discs. So I decided to buy a new one. However, this that you got may be fixable.

Probably would be good to get it fixed, but it's not something that should cause you much trouble in the meantime. Maybe it's just dusty or dirty inside and needs to be cleaned.

I agree that you should send it in to get fixed. Just look online for any DIY remedies for the same problem and people may have come up with some good ideas for a sticky drive. My suggestion is to use a damp cloth and try and clean it as best you can, if that doesn't work though then the only option really is to send it in for repair.

When you say sticky, do you mean like, really sticky?
If not, maybe the button to eject is not properly hitting the button inside to eject the disc.
