Xbox One Watch Dogs

I've lost a considerable amount of steam for this game. It's been in the making for a while and suffered a pretty big delay. Considering the lack of new and interesting game play previews it's hard to say that I'm excited anymore. I definitely had my eye on it though. I have a feeling the The Division might suffer from the same issue. I think a lot of game developers can learn a thing or two from Far Cry 4. They just announced it and have a release date of November 2014. It's no fun showing a game that's far from ready and then delaying it even further.

i honestly cant wait, ive seen the commercial and it was wicked and the advertisement on youtube was even better. this game is going to be one of the best games of the decade.

I think the delay and hype is only hurting the game. They should have released it already long ago.

I'm staying away from this title for a while. It's got a huge hype train behind it. I want to see what the user reviews aggregate out to before I look into it. Plus, I bet it hits crazy sales at Christmas anyway.

Yeah, I'm thinking the hype and innacurate reveal trailer will be this game's undoing. Pretty sad, sounds like a great game that just won't live up to the insane hype.

I just picked up my copy from JB Hifi here in Perth and overnight they have reduced the price from $89 to $79, they are slaughtering EB games (gamestop) who are selling the same for $99 still!!

Anyone pre-order this online and get to play it at midnight? I cannot WAIT to go pick up my copy (and then wait for it to install :()

did you see the publicity prank put on by Ubisoft, to promote the game, oh it was awesome you guys neey to watch it, just search for it on Youtube, you won't regret it.

I waited until the press embargo was lifted before deciding if I was getting this game. I think I'm going to wait until Christmas and pounce on a sale then.

I want to go on the record of saying that the Watch Dogs marketing has been amazing so far. They have a great commercial, all the graphics are intense, and everything looks really good for the game. I'm curious if it will uphold to all the hype, but this is one of the times where I don't have a whole lot of worry about that. Looking forward to it!

I've been hearing a lot of negativity lately, seems like the game failed to live up to its hype...

There's not that much to say about the graphic controversity. The game looks good, no doubt, but not nearly as good as in the E3 Trailers, Launch Trailer or Steam Shop Page Screenshots. By all means, this form of false advertising has to stop. Also, getting hours less of playtime because i didnt bought the "Digitale Deluxe" Edition is just wrong and should not be supported.

For the game itself, its your average GTA style game. The story is very odd and inconsistent. The one moment i beat someone up with a baseball bat, then i'm visiting my nephew, then i'm suddenly Badass McBadBat again. The side Missions are extremely dull and usually consist of dozens of heavily armed dudes getting thrown at you. You have whole military-like mob convoys driving trough the city. Whoever runs the city is probably the worst police state in the history of gaming.

The gameplay is uber-realistic. You have a three meter turn radius, every car handles like a formula one car that has tanked cerosine and the gunplay is quite odd. That said, there are good things in watchdogs and its fun to **** around with the city, but its not enough to keep me want to play it.

I was super excited for this game when it was announced, then as time wore on I got a little more wary. There was that whole debacle with the graphics and stuff, but then that was debunked (I think?). Then some positive first impressions came out, and it seemed pretty cool again, but then everybody seemed to get the game a week early and posted about all its faults, but there were some people saying it's actually pretty good... At this point, I don't know what to believe. The release of this game was a roller coaster.

Watchdogs has been amazing so far and i honestly think it was worth the wait!

It was a bit disappointing.. It could have been better but then again Ubisoft's games lately have all left me feeling that way..

I'm playing it currently and it's very much a let down to me, I thought Max Brotherhood from Xbox Gold was better =/

Yeah I was really thinking about buying this game but the more reviews that I read the more that I am beginning to realize that this game really may not be worth my time at all. I have had some friends tell me that they game is really not what they thought it was going to be. I really thought that with all the hype that was surrounding the realize of the game that it would have turn ed out a lot better then it did. Like some one said before Ubisofts games lately have been lacking a lot and they just don't seem to be living up to the hype that they have been having before they have been released.
