Frame Rates - 30fps or 60+ fps?

I think as long as your between the two your golden, as mentioned in some of the other posts, depending on whats happening in the game the rate will drop at times. It's nothing new but I find 30 ok but the smoothness gets me after a while so 45 is perfect. (For those who don't have a calculator, thats halfway between 30 and 60!) I've never had a top of the range graphics card as I just don't see the price as a true reflection of the benefits...
