Original Xbox Xbox Popularity

The most popular console in my town as a kid was definitely the PlayStation 2. Everyone thought the original Xbox was goofy looking and had no good games. I felt otherwise and bought the XBOX the second it was released.
 
In my graphics arts class everyone was talking about the XBOX and how great the graphics were.
Plus on Dreamcast forums alot of members were talking about it and considered it's successor.
First I didn't care but when I read the Play magazines I started taking acknowledgement and decided to save up and check one out and checking it out in action at GameStop I said duck it I'll buy one.
I was happy with it till I got a 360 in 06.
